We highly recommend updating your web browsr to take advantage of these new features. Having the latest web browser installed ensures there are no problems playing demo's, making payment and downloading your song files. Older versions may cause issues when making payment or downloading due to internet technology advances. Updating the web browser is quick and easy. Simply use the help or about menus in the browser and select 'check for updates' Internet Explorer - update to version 9. NOTE 1: MIDI File's require a MIDI File player or software capable of play/edit MIDI File. MP3's are more suited to play on a computer or transfer to a CD. NOTE 2: MIDI Files cannot be played on a CD and require a dedicated device like the OkyWeb3 player. If you are unsure about MIDI Files, we recommend purchasing the MP3 version. If the MP3 version is not unavailable, contact Hit Trax and we will have make it available, usually same day. NOTE 3: tempo, pitch/key and instruments can be changed on a MIDI File without loss of quality. MP3 files cannot be changed except for small shifts in pitch/key by some 3rd party programs. MP3 backing tracks are audio song files minus vocals. Instrumentation is recorded using sampled instruments and/or high quality MIDI sound sources.. Select this format to play backing tracks on any computer, mp3 player, iPad/iPod/iPhone, iTunes, Windows media player and similar programs, and any device dedicated to playing a standard audio file. Live Band + Backing Vocal MP3 files These backing tracks are recorded using primarily live instruments. Some MIDI instrumnents may exist. Backing vocals are included where indicated. The endings of LIVE BAND backing tracks are indicated by 'Arranged Ending' or 'Fades Out'. If you forget to download your songs, click here to view and download all your purchases through Hit trax. Select the order and download. If you are having problems downloading, contact customer service. Please do not initiate any claims through PayPal or credit card if you cannot download your order as doing so means we cannot send the song files until the claim is cleared. Customer service is available Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5pm Australian eastern time. A 30 second MP3 demo of the song file is available by clicking the 'demo' button. If there is no sound, check the volume is on the computer. If the demo is slow to load or stutters during playback, wait a few seconds allowing the file to fully load then play again. Some demo's include a instrumental melody guide for reference only. Full versions of MP3 backing tracks do not include the melody guide. The full MIDI File versions include a melody guide where indicated. The demo player requires flash player installed on the computer. Click here to download the flash player. Most song titles include print lyrics and others also include embedded lyrics. Print and embedded lyrics do not form part of the sale and no refund/exchange is made on song files without lyrics. MP3 audio files do not have any embedded lyrics. To see if print lyrics are available, click the orange 'LYR button under the artist name. PDF version of the full song catalogue is updated monthly. Click here to download. Custom songs and special orders Need a song that is not in the catalogue? Hit Trax 'special orders' team will create almost any song. This is a premium service however the production is subsidised to save you money. A standard chart or pop/rock song is AU$150.00 and includes a fully produced MIDI file, MP3 audio mix and lyrics. Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days. Songs with longer than normal length and complexity will be quoted. To receive a free quote, click here and follow the prompts. Demo Files ...... Some demo files include an instrumental melody guide for reference only. How to split MIDI File from merged to separate tracks All Hit Trax MIDI Files are provided in format 0 (merged). Most sequencing programs automatically split tracks on loading. The process can be found in the help section or user manual under 'demix tracks' or 'split tracks'. If your sequencing program does not have this feature, use one of the programs below to split the tracks:
